We are excited to announce that our practice will be offering a summer social learning experience, in addition to individual speech therapy sessions during the summer of 2020. This is a small group experience, as we must follow all CDC guidelines. Each child will have their own desk/work space. Due to these requirements, we will only have 3 participants.

The program will be held once weekly (in the evening), for a 4-week session. Each session will last 2 hours, which will include opening and closing activities, a brief sensory break/activity, and the main activities will include child friendly cooking (with adapted recipes). The group will have a maximum of 3 students and will be led by a certified speech-language pathologist, and a certified occupational therapist (1.5: 1 client to adult ratio).

Speech and language and occupational therapy goals will be incorporated into each lesson. Students will continue to receive carryover activities to take home and practice, weekly. The speech/language goals and objectives and occupational therapy goals of current speech students will be incorporated into the sessions.

*Due to the nature of the group and scheduling, no makeup sessions will be offered.*

Dates: (Monday evenings) Aug. 3rd, Aug. 10th, Aug 17th, Aug. 24th

Time: 5-7pm

* Please arrive by 4:50, so that there is time for check-in (COVID-form, temp. check, bathroom break, etc.)*
