Frequently Asked questions (FAQ)

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept checks, cash payments, and ACH (electronic payments-no fee will be charged for processing) through Quickbooks Online invoicing.

Do you provide in-home therapy sessions?

We do provide services in the home on a case by case basis. Distance from the office (approximately 10-mile radius of the office) is considered when determining service setting.

Do you have weekend appointments?

Unfortunately, we do not offer weekend appointments at this time.

How long are the treatment sessions?

Treatment sessions 50-minutes in length which is divided into 45-minutes of direct therapy and 5-minutes of consultation with the parent. In the schools, sessions are 40 minutes in length, allowing for time to transport the client to and from the therapy location and time to write the therapy notes for the parents.

How long will my child be in an intervention program?

Interventions can vary from a short duration to a lengthy period of time. Each case will be individually analyzed and discussed with the professionals and family members throughout the remediation process and will be initially discussed at the evaluation report meeting or therapy plan review meeting.

When should my child start an intervention program?

Early intervention is essential to reaching optimal progress in the shortest period of time. Identifying and treating speech, language, reading, writing and other developmental delays early lead to a better prognosis.

Can I observe my child's session?

Yes, for services conducted in the office, parents are encouraged to watch their child’s session on a device in the waiting. Sessions are live-streamed and are not recorded. Please feel free to bring in your own earbuds or headphones for your listening convenience.

Do you accept insurance?

We are currently an out-of-network provider for any insurance company and do not provide direct billing to or accept payment directly from any insurance company. If your insurance policy has out-of-network speech benefits, you may be able to submit provided invoices to your insurance company and the company may directly reimburse you, based on the terms of your insurance policy.
